The Route

I am coming down country from John O Groats to Land's End (it's downhill all the way apparently). The main reasons are that I live in Cornwall and that is where the hospice is to be built, so it makes sense to finish there.

I have now almost cracked how to work google maps and the route for day one is below. To see the routes for the rest of the trip please click on the day list below. Please be patient with the maps, you might need to zoom in or out to see the route (google maps kept changing how they looked!!). I will update the comments on the routes once I have ridden them, it will be interesting to see if they work out in practice!!

DAY ONE - HERE WE GO!!

Day One - I imagine this will be the most exciting and nervy day of them all. Here goes nothing. A thousand mile bike has to start with a turn of the wheel somewhere I suppose.
