Hello everyone. I am very new to blogging but here goes anyway!

I started training at the end of September and was doing great until the clocks went back and that has made it a bit more difficult to get out and about. I am plugging away though and it's freezing out there, I'm really jealous of those "proper cyclists" with all their fancy warm clothes!! I'll just plod on with my shorts with a hole in the backside, kindly stitched up by Kate whilst I was still wearing them. Any of you who know Kate's sewing skills will know I took my butt if not my life in my hands.

Anyway, I will keep you up to date with what I am up to. Please feel free to leave me a message on this blog, cheers.

Hi Gordon

As you can see from the above, i have never "blogged" before! I guess leaving a blank message isnt really the right thing to do!

Vicky tells me you have some wierd sun tan marks (NICE) - I think you will need a St Tropez spray at the end so you have an all over tan (apart form the paper pant line!)

I'm sure you must be aching ALLLL over but there are a lot of proud people willing you on - and it goes without saying how beneficial this will be to some very special people!

Scotland was amazing- loved the highlands
